Embargo Periods

Is there any way to not have journals show up as full text during their embargo periods? This is a total pain when accessing through WorldCat Local, especially for Ebsco journals. You get a dead end with the Ebsco link. Thanks, Mark

    Hi Mark,

    The database names are the only thing WCKB takes directly from Pubget for Ebsco. OCLC then uses their own title lists for each database to fill in the titles and embargoes, since Ebsco databases consist of the same titles and details regardless of institution.

    I would check with OCLC that their embargo details are correct and that they've set your service up to respect them.

    Searching on Pubget.com won't offer full text subscription content from an embargo period.
